Manda has done a wide variety of jobs, either because she is very talented and successful at all she does, or has a low boredom threshold and needed to keep moving before she got caught out in the corporate world. She is constantly anticipating the tap on the shoulder and the words, “Huge mistake, we wanted the OTHER Manda Rigby.” She ran marketing for Enterprise at Microsoft UK, and marketing for Cisco, but neither of these experiences helped in any way to provide material for a novel set in the British headquarters of an American-based huge multinational, but she went ahead and wrote it anyway. She has been shortlisted for a few writing awards, and anthologized, and intends to write a series based on this, her first novel.
