Linda Lamus has work published in poetry magazines including Poetry London, Staple, Acumen, Orange Coast Review (USA), Tears in the Fence and the New Writer, plus various prizewinners’ anthologies.
Winner of the Yorkshire Open Poetry Competition 2004, Linda was a runner-up in the Bridport Poetry Competition in the same year. She was shortlisted in the Arvon Poetry Competition, and was third in the Poetry London Competition. She won 3rd prize in both the City of Derby Poetry Competition and The Plough Prize in 2006.
Also in 2006, Linda read her work at the Bristol Poetry Festival, supporting U. A. Fanthorpe and R. V. Bailey. Linda has read her own and other poetry on BBC radio.
Sadly, Linda died in December 2008. There is a tribute at the front of the book. Linda, we will miss you.
