As a child my father, an inspired English teacher, introduced me to many great fictional characters and I inherited a love of Literature and of writing from him.
During almost thirty years as a Primary School teacher most of my creative energy went into my work although I did find time for evening classes and to write and produce many three-act plays for schools as well as plays for village drama groups. In my last school I was responsible for children with special needs.
Since leaving the profession eight years ago I have devoted much of my time to writing and have completed two novels.
