Dikra Ridha is an Iraqi poet born in Baghdad. She lived in North Africa and Europe, before settling in the UK. She continued her creative studies in Art and Design whilst collecting pieces of literature from her travels and writing poems exploring cultural awareness and issues of departure and arrival in new places. Currently, she is writing about the life, midst war and its aftermath, for the ordinary citizens inside and outside Iraq.
