Abby Hillinger is currently working on her novel, Except after Being, a story about a twenty-something male dealing with post-university life. The majority of her book is set in a suicide hotline office, very loosely based on her experiences volunteering at Samaritans - very, very loosely. She hopes to get her MFA in the next few years and specialize further in her trademark authorial self-deprecation. Currently, she lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts, but would love to trek back across the pond and indulge further in the dryness that is English humor.
